Fosters Grille offers fast, casual, family-friendly dining in 16 locations, from Maryland to Florida. Now, with the re-launch of its franchising program, Fosters Grille seeks to expand its presence to 50 corporate and franchise locations within the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
Fosters Grille opened its first location in 1999. Since then, the company has grown to include 16 locations in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. Nine locations are operated by the Fosters Grille Companies corporate office, while the other seven locations are independently owned franchises. All existing Fosters Grille locations are well established and have been in operation for approximately four years or longer.
Our successful locations provide great food, great service and wholesome family entertainment in an upbeat relaxed atmosphere, says Mike Cerny, president of Fosters Grille Companies and Fosters Franchise Concepts. Our immediate goal is to grow our presence in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast region. Once we have grown our presence here, we will expand into new states.
The Fosters Grille brand combines a family-friendly personality with old time, regional d?cor and casual but high-quality food, including fresh never frozen chargrilled burgers, fresh hand-cut Idaho potato fries and old-fashioned milk shakes. All locations serve beer, and select locations offer wine.
Arcade games and regional d?cor give each Fosters Grille location its unique persona.

Franchisees own independent locations with support from Fosters Franchise Concepts, based in Haymarket, Virginia. All franchise owners have access to the exclusive Fosters Grille operating system, brand and know-how. New owners and applicants receive comprehensive training, support and assistance with site selection and location development. Prior restaurant experience is helpful but not required.
Expansion efforts are currently focused on the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast region, from Maryland to Florida.
