WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Vice President Mike Pence on Thursday said the United States will impose sanctions on Turkey unless a detained American Christian pastor is released, the Associated Press reported.

On Wednesday, a court in Turkey ruled that the pastor, Andrew Brunson, who has been detained for the last 21 months, should be transferred to house arrest.
